Small disclaimer

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up. I am not a breed snob, and I do not think doxies are better than other dogs. I'm just writing about them because they're the only dogs I've ever known -- I've only ever had wiener dogs. I know them in and out, but I want you to know that I love all dogs, hence the story below about Faith who is a mix (I think). The ultimate purpose of my site is to raise awareness and support rescues all across the country. That being said, my focus will be mainly on dachshunds (my life with them and cute doxie stories, pictures, and merchandise), but don't be surprised if you see news, stories, and links about other breeds and non-dachshund specific rescues. I am open to happy stories from any dog owner or volunteer.
